Hi,

I want to upgrade my device's SSD storage. I want to know the maximum capacity can be installed on my device. I also want to know if  Samsung 960/970/980 EVO PLUS NVMe M.2 (250/500/1T) is compatible with my device.

Currently, I have an SSD M.2 2280 128GB installed on my device. And I read somewhere that my device is compatible with NVMe:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/ASUS/n552vw#SSDFilters
(I believe that N552VX and N552VW has the same motherboards)

Regards, Amir

Thanks. I had seen the specification. I might ask the question in the wrong way. Let me ask it again like this: Is my device compatible with PCIe 3.0 x4? In the specification, the version is not mentioned. And would you please let me know what will happen if I install 1T SSD?

pcle slots are different Variants are there. any one of the controller is embedded on the motherboard and its related firmware must be I  the bios.
so I cant say exact pcle 2.0 x3 or  pcle 3.0 x4
and also  1TB might not compatible.

we have to check available pcle SSD in laptop as trial and error method
