Just switched to Walmart family mobile and now whenever someone attempts to message me they get a message that says message blocking is enabled. When I send messages they are never received. I called family mobile and after an hour with them, they basically said that it's a handset issue, call the manufacturer. The only thing that has not been tried is a factory reset.  Does anyone have any clue as to WTH could be causing this? When the phone was purchased it was used with Family mobile, and then it went to straight talk using an AT&T sim. I will add that taking the sim card and using it in another phone SMS/mms messages. So that rules out the carrier as the issue.

Did this issue happened before you switched to Walmart mobile?
If this kind of issue hasn't been happening since the purchase of the phone
Usually, this kind of issue can be highly related to your carrier
Have you tried receiving SMS with the same handset but with a different SIM card/ number?
Have you tried it under "safe mode"?
In safe mode, only the factory pre-installed applications will be loaded.
