Go to Power Management in settings, Select Power Consumption Table and see if any apps are draining the battery. Uninstall/Disable them, or try to update them to the latest version.

just because your phone is rooted..........

It is fully functional in non-root mode.

Also wiping partition cache solved the problem.

My phone is also overheating guys!!! Temperature in our locality is 42℃ by weather report and my phone's temperature is 50℃ by an app installed in my phone.I am also feeling too much temp guys!!! lol

From the last few weeks, battery drains from 100% to 0% within 3-4hrs here, that too with less usage...
Heats like a frying pan, Some day I may fry an egg over it...

Can't even hold the phone to the ear for a minute..

Also noticing random reboot issues..

Its surely some ZenApps, coz many got updated las fewt weeks and from then it has started...
I noticed that my asus phone is overheating from last 2 days
It feels like burning when I hold my phone.Mostly around the part where camera lens
i also reset my phone but it not works......

suggest you to follow below steps and confirm, ...

this measures are temporary. Almost all users are facing heating issue. Asus needs to release a troubleshooting patch to fix this. Like Xiaomi has done for Mi4i

I regularly use clean master and ram booster. Then also heating issue persists.
