ASUS 5 Bug Report
Model: ZC600KL
RAM: 2G
Firmware/APP Version: 3.23.40.60
Frequency of Occurrence: 15/10/2015
Rooted: Yes
APP Name: -

From last 2 days I'm facong problems with detection of SIM cards. 2 days earlier I was on firmware version 3.23.40.52 which I installed around 2-3 months ago. I was using SIM 1 only. The problem started with the phone showing both SIM cards "Unavailable" (network indicator showed cross sign over empty bars). I rebooted and still there was the problem. Then I shut down, ejected SIM card, put it on slot 2 and booted again. The problem was still there. Then did Factory reset from setting menu but the problem was till there. Then I tried Hard reset (Wipe data and wipe cache from recovery menu) and after reboot, it solved the problem, just for few hours and then it came back. Then I downloaded firmware version 3.23.40.60 and installed it. This fied the problem for about a day but now I got the problem again. There's nothing left to do.

Please give me fix asap. P.S.: My phone isn't rooted.

Hey cy56,

Try the following steps :

1. Make sure the SIM card you are using is not a cut SIM
2. Reboot to Recovery & wipe cache partition
3. Reboot in safe mode & check if the issue still persists
4. You can contact your service provider for more info
