How did you measure? With Gaming Center app? My ROG has 39°C while playing PUBG without air-cooler ! In gaming mode and 90Hz refresh rate.

39 is normal but Higher Room temps easy make the device heat up.

The big number in game center is system temperature.
NOT CPU.
My highest was around 60.
At that time charging got disabled.
Games were still not lagging/shuttering.
Was able to game 4.5h on mobile network with 2 simcards.
The phone had cheap TPU xase on and outside was 40c-ish.
I think thats awesome.
So do not worry until the games lagg or you get notification of charging disabled (due to heat)

Hi feri.kupit87,

Room temperature or background running apps may affect the temperature.
If you are charging the phone, the temperature may become higher as well.
If you feel like the temperature is abnormally high, you may back up your phone data, and send your phone in for an assessment. The link below will help in finding your local service center: https://www.asus.com/support/Service-Center-All-Countries/

Thank you

Try to reduce max cpu clock speed in game center.
As i do not think that chess rush is a graphics heavy game, it should be ok on lower cpu speed.
It should reduce heat, unless it is coused by another app in background.
I do not think it is game genie unless you record with it all the time.
To reduce cpu speeds go into:
Game center app and in there look for game profiles.
It is game specific, so you can set it for every game you have on the phone.
It helps 🔋.
