Description: System problem with the 3.5mm Jack
I found a big problem with the 3.5mm jack to the ZenFone 3. And I'm sure it is. Me and a friend of mine we have the same problem. And we have the same model phone. Also we bought them from different stores.

The idea is, the phone, with headphones lose all the low frequency. For all people to understand more exactly, it lose all the bass line. It remain just the mids and highs frequency.

The problem is actually, that It's not a hardware issue. It's a software one.

Let me explain...

I remove, and plug back my headphones, and all the bass is cutted. If I restart my phone with the headphones in, the sound is good. But when I remove it and plug it in back, again lose the bass line. Also, if i restart the phone without the headphones, I have like 10 to 15 seconds to plug my headphones. To work properly. Otherwise it will not work.
Also, everytime when I do a factory reset, my phone work just fine. And in about one month, the problem come back...

I have this phone for almost 2 years. And he has that problem for the first month I bought it. Also I never taked the phone to a service centre. This is how I got it.

And It's not just me. I already said. My friend have the same issue...

It's anything I could do, beside taking the phone to a service centre?

Thank you!

Hi ChargeBPM,

Could you tell me the apps and their app versions this problem appears on?
Does it happen on every app?
Could you send me a music link that can show this problem?
Have you tried with different headphones? Please tell me the brand and model of your headphone.
Have you tried cleaning the headphone jack?
How often does this problem appear?

Thank you

Hi.

The problem appers on every app.

Is not just a specific song. It's the whole phone. Even the notification sounds... I can't send to you a music link to show the problem.

My headphones are Sony MDR V55. But I also tried to use the original headphones that came in the box. And I tried also, other headphones. Also from Sony, but different model, Phillips, Beats.... All does the same. I also used an aux cable to some speakers. And it does the same. It's losing the low frequency.

I have tried to clean the headphone jack... But nothing...

And... It happend all the time.... Whenever I want to use my headphones to my phone, I have to restart it... And I don't want to do a factory reset (again), because I have so many stuffs in my phone.
