Hi Team Asus,

Facing issues from vodafone sim in slot 2. Its working fine in Slot 1.calls from sim 2 are not clear. Cracking sound and sometime call get disconected automatically.

Also m using Jio sim in slot one so i cant switch the sim coz of poor hardware configuration due to which sim 2 cant use data.

Is this the issue of Marshmallow ? If so i can downgrade it to lolipop.

Hi Sagarnanda22,

Check if this issue persist with any other service provider card.

Also check if this issue persist in safe mode

How to Enter Safe Mode?

Apply to: ZenFone, PadFone, FonePad

When power is off:

1.      Long press power key to boot.

2.      When ASUS logo appears, press and hold volume down key till home screen appears

3.      “Safe Mode” reminder appears on the lower-left of home screen

When power is on:

1.      Long press power key.

2.      Tap and hold “Power Off”.

3.      Tap “OK” of Reboot to Safe Mode window.


4.      “Safe mode” reminder appears on the lower-left of home screen.



How to Exit Safe Mode ?

Restarting your device. Your device will now be exit safe mode.

Hi Sagar,
I'm facing the same issue from 5 to 6 months approx.. Sim1 jio and sim2 Vodafone.. Same issue happen call automatically drop and signal recover after fraction of seconds. I also try all the ways.. But didn't find the solution.


I brought Vodafone 4g swap sim to swap into new 4g sim card. But company restricted my msg services, so not able to send swap msg. I requested them lot but still not remove restriction..


You can try this and let me know if it'll work well!!


Also pease tell me, if you'll get any other way to get rid from this problem..
