Description: Impossible to delete a fingerprint
Hello,

I wanted to delete a saved fingerprint but it is impossible.
The 4 over saved was successfully deleted but for the last one, I confirm the erase but it still here, on the list of saved fingerprint...

Very strange !

Already tested on Safe Mode, no changes...

Hello Sneaky
I can not duplicate your issue on a firmware version WW_5.15.44.2588 ZS570KL. I can successfully delete all fingerprints with no problem. Is there any error message or any of some sort? Thank you

Well, I have no messages, when I want to confirm the delete, there is just no change, it's like I've done nothing.
I click delete, it sends me back to the list of saved fingerprint. It's weird because earlier, I may delete all the saved fingerprint.
Now, One and the same fingerprint is ineffaceable.

Is there any way to manually delete it from an explorer app etc ?

Hello ? I suppose it is a software bug...

My guess is the only "solution" is factory reset.

As always ...
I will not do that just to delete 1 fingerprint, that's foolish !

Well, Asus's "solution" has always been, clear cache, factory reset and finally, take it into service centre.

I understand what you are saying, factory reset (or reformat in Windows days) are never the real solution, it is just the quick way out for lazy tech support person who cannot be bothered to fix the real problem and causes a lot of inconvenience to the users. If I have to reinstall Windows every time there is an update or a problem, I will get nothing done as I will have nothing on my computer.

Take it into service center, oh yes I almost forgot that one...

Sometimes, I wonder if all these "Tech Support" are really composed of real technicians ...

Sneaky, they are not. That Bill2_chang_ASUS doesn't ever know anything. He has a few standard go to responses then he will ignore you.
