Hi Friends,

After lollipop update, my internal storage folders and files seems to be corrupted but the phone is still working normally. I donno what is happening and moreover, I done wipe cache to restore the same, but still the problem persists.

When I open any folder in internal storage, it is asking to open in text or image or audio or video format.

All the folders and files are showing 0.00 B in size.

Can somebody help on this please? I can't even receive and store files from bluetooth, or from any other sources.

Help is appreciated.

   This reply is the best answer.
Please perform a factory reset from droidboot mode to get rid of the problem.
Do note that if you had any files in internal storage,it will be erased.
So,do it with proper backup.

Also,please try this:
Go to settings->apps->file manager->clear data+force stop.
Restart it and check if your files are visible or not.
Also,check for latest File Manager update.

Hi Debopriya,

I tried all the steps you gave, but, only factory reset worked out and resolved the issue. Thanks a lot anyways.
